Just because you don’t do lifesaving doesn’t mean you can’t be part of our family.
We have other memberships available so that everyone can become part of the URSLC.

Family Associate Member

Great and Affordable annual membership package for family members of all active members of the club inclusive of all parents for Niplets / Nippers / Junior and spouses of Active Senior & Masters. From a safety point of view it is mandatory that all Niplets / Nippers / Junior parents register as Family Associate member. As an family associate member you have access to all club facilities and coffee shop at all times but use of craft is restricted.

Sports Membership

This category is created for active people who would like to be active part of the ocean/beach environment while committing for support the various functions and mandates of the club, but without an active club member as direct family. Sport members have full access to the club and facilities inclusive of showers and equipment (Equipment only after Competency Assess and Water Safety Office sign off). Due to space restrictions in the club house and in line with safety this category is limited to 70 members pa. Typical this allows our surf ski and surfing enthusiasts from around the community to be part of our family. It is expected that you become involved and have fun in various functions within the club to ensure you give back to THE CLUB, LIFESAVING and the uMHLANGA community…. HUBBA HUBBA and Welcome to the Family!

Non-Sports Membership

This category is created for less active people who would like to be active part of the ocean/beach environment while committing for support the various functions and mandates of the club, but without active club member as direct family. Non Sport members have full access to the club and facilities inclusive of showers. Due to space restrictions in the club house and in line with safety this category is limited to 70 members pa. Typical this allows environmentally focus beach walkers and sun seekers from around the community to be part of our family. It is expected that you become involved and have fun in various functions within the club to ensure you give back to THE CLUB, LIFESAVING and the uMHLANGA community….HUBBA HUBBA and Welcome to the Family!
