Seniors @ URSLC
The Senior Division of any Surf Lifesaving Club is generally made up of young men and women that have been actively involved in surf lifesaving for a number of years, having often moved through the ranks from as early as Nippers.Â
Â
These members will have undergone the necessary first aid and surf training required in order to work on a beach and assist in and perform rescues in challenging ocean conditions, thereby saving lives.
Â
These members also compete for the club on a local, national and international level testing and honing their surf skills against the best in the world.Â
Â
The Seniors are often looked up to as leaders in the club environment and they are encouraged to give back to those that are new to the sport. With this in mind all help with training of the next generation of lifeguard is valued and appreciated. With so many people using the ocean it’s a privilege to be able to impart experience and knowledge to the youngsters and beginners in order for them to be able to keep themselves and others safe.Â
Â
URSLC is always looking to those like minded individuals that have the same passion and interest in the sport and lifestyle in general to get involved and learn or teach the lifeguards of the future.Â
Â
Get down to the club and become a part of this unique, active and passionate group of individuals that have formed an amazing family, all with the same love, respect and interest in ocean.Â
Â
Hubba Hubba all the way…..
